Rugged Weather Begins

For a long time rugged, raw, and wild weather has captured my attention, and I believe I am not the only one who is fascinated by the power that can be unleashed in the atmosphere. I’ll be sharing current, recent, and historical extreme weather stories here and invite you to join the discussion. I plan on hearing things like “that’s unreal” or “no way” quite often.

To get things started, here are couple photos from the December 10-12, 2010 blizzard only the most rugged would ever want to endure:

Tons of Records were Broken throughout the storm. On December 12 alone there were 192 new snowfall records set, and another 26 tied in the US.
